Best AI Video Generators in India (2026): Veo 3.1 vs Kling vs Seedance, with Rupee Prices

Choosing among the best AI video generators in India used to be a question of quality alone. In 2026 the real question is cost: what does one usable clip cost you in rupees? Google’s Veo 3.1, Kuaishou’s Kling and ByteDance’s Seedance can all turn a text prompt into a short cinematic video, but their prices differ by more than ten times. This guide compares them with real per-clip rupee prices as of October 2026, worked out from the live model catalogue in InstaStudio, our AI image and video studio, and from official Google and fal.ai price pages. Provider prices change often, so treat every number here as a dated snapshot.

Disclosure: InstaStudio is made by InstaDataHelp, the publisher of this blog. We have tried to compare fairly, and we point out where other options are cheaper.

What to look for in an AI video generator

Most Indian creators and small businesses care about five things:

  • Motion quality and realism. Do hands, faces and liquids move naturally, or do they warp?
  • Native audio. Some models create dialogue, music and sound effects together with the picture. Others are silent, so you add sound later.
  • Clip length and resolution. Most models make clips of 4–10 seconds. A few go to 15–30 seconds.
  • Real cost per clip. A subscription price means little until you know how many clips it buys.
  • Payment and commitment. Can you pay in rupees by UPI? Do unused credits expire? Does the plan auto-renew?

A good rule: pick the cheapest model that is good enough for the job, and save the premium models for the shots that matter.

The best AI video generators in India: Veo 3.1, Kling and Seedance

Google Veo 3.1 is the model most people mean when they search “Veo 3”. It is known for cinematic lighting and native audio: speech, music and sound effects generated with the video. It comes in three tiers, Veo 3.1 (full quality), Veo 3.1 Fast and Veo 3.1 Lite. Google’s Gemini API pricing page lists Veo 3.1 at $0.40 per second of video with audio at 720p and 1080p, Fast at $0.10–$0.12 and Lite at $0.05–$0.08.

Kling from Kuaishou is strong on motion and physics, which helps with people, dance and product spins. Two versions matter in 2026. Kling 3.0 (Pro and Standard) supports native audio and clips of 3–15 seconds. Kling 2.6 Pro is cheaper and still cinematic. On fal.ai, Kling 2.6 Pro costs $0.07 per second with audio off and $0.14 with audio on.

Seedance from ByteDance covers both ends of the price range. Seedance 2.5 makes single shots of up to 30 seconds with native audio, at about $0.473 per second at 720p on fal.ai. Seedance 1.5 Pro is the budget option. Fal.ai says a 5-second 720p Seedance 1.5 Pro clip with audio costs roughly $0.26.

Also worth knowing: Wan 3.0 (Alibaba, native audio, up to 30 s), Hailuo 02 (MiniMax, good physics, silent), LTX-2.3 (Lightricks, native 1080p with audio) and PixVerse V6 (stylised clips at a low price).

Rupee price comparison: what one clip really costs

The table below shows what each model costs per clip in InstaStudio. Credits come straight from the studio’s model catalogue. Credits are the provider’s dollar cost × 1,000, rounded up, so 1 credit ≈ $0.001. The rupee columns use two real plan rates, both including GST:

  • Pro plan: ₹1,999 for 14,000 credits, about ₹0.143 per credit.
  • Starter pack: ₹79 for 500 credits, about ₹0.158 per credit.
Model and settings Credits per clip ≈ ₹ on Pro plan ≈ ₹ with Starter pack
Veo 3.1, 8 s, 1080p, with audio 3,200 ₹457 ₹506
Veo 3.1, 8 s, 1080p, no audio 1,600 ₹228 ₹253
Veo 3.1 Fast, 8 s, 1080p, with audio 1,200 ₹171 ₹190
Veo 3.1 Lite, 8 s, 720p, with audio 400 ₹57 ₹63
Kling 3.0 Pro, 5 s, with audio 841 ₹120 ₹133
Kling 3.0 Standard, 5 s, with audio 630 ₹90 ₹100
Kling 2.6 Pro, 5 s, silent 351 ₹50 ₹55
Kling 2.6 Pro, 10 s, silent 701 ₹100 ₹111
Seedance 2.5, 5 s, 720p, with audio 2,365 ₹338 ₹374
Seedance 1.5 Pro, 5 s, 720p, with audio 260 ₹37 ₹41
Seedance 1.5 Pro, 10 s, 720p, with audio 519 ₹74 ₹82
Wan 3.0, 5 s, 720p, with audio 500 ₹71 ₹79
Hailuo 02, 6 s, silent 270 ₹39 ₹43
LTX-2.3, 6 s, 1080p, with audio 480 ₹69 ₹76

Three things stand out. First, full Veo 3.1 with audio is the most expensive clip per second in this group. Turning audio off halves its price. Second, Veo 3.1 Lite and Seedance 1.5 Pro cost under ₹65 per clip and still include sound. Third, Kling 2.6 Pro is the cheapest way to get Kling-style motion, at about ₹50 for a silent 5-second shot. The exact cost for your settings always appears in the studio before you click Generate. You can check the full list on the InstaStudio pricing page.

Where other options are cheaper (an honest comparison)

InstaStudio is not the cheapest route in every case. Here is where the alternatives win.

Google Flow with a Google AI subscription. Google’s India subscriptions page lists Google AI Pro at ₹1,950 a month with 1,000 Flow credits, and AI Plus at ₹399 with 200 Flow credits. According to Google’s Flow help page, a Veo 3.1 Quality generation costs 100 credits, Fast costs 20 and Lite costs 10 for non-Ultra subscribers. Everyone also gets 50 free Flow credits a day. If you use all your monthly credits, one Veo 3.1 Quality clip works out to about ₹195 on AI Pro. That is well below ₹457. The catches: Flow only offers Google’s models, and unused monthly credits do not roll over.

Direct API access. Developers can call Veo 3.1 at $0.40 per second, or $3.20 for an 8-second clip. At the 9 October 2026 interbank rate of ₹96.71 to the dollar, that is about ₹309, before GST and any card forex charges. That is cheaper than a studio, but you write the code and handle billing in dollars yourself. If your team is building AI into its own apps, our InstaRoute AI gateway can route requests across many AI providers through one API.

Kling’s own app. Kling sells its own credit plans at kling.ai and runs frequent promotions. We could not verify current prices from its official page, so check them in the app before you subscribe.

Where a multi-model studio wins: you get Veo, Kling, Seedance, Wan and others in one place with one credit balance. You pay in rupees by UPI, cards or net banking, and plans are prepaid for 30 days and never auto-renew. Plan credits roll over while a plan is active, pack credits never expire, and failed generations are refunded automatically.

Which AI video generator should you choose?

Match the model to the job, not to the hype:

  • Ad hero shot or brand film with dialogue: Veo 3.1 with audio. Use it for the one or two shots your campaign depends on.
  • Instagram Reels and product clips at volume: Veo 3.1 Fast, Kling 3.0 Standard or Wan 3.0. They give good quality at ₹70–₹170 a clip on Pro.
  • People, dance and product rotations: Kling, for its motion and physics.
  • Testing ideas cheaply: Seedance 1.5 Pro, Hailuo 02 or Veo 3.1 Lite, all under ₹65 a clip. Find the prompt that works, then re-run it on a premium model.
  • Longer single shots: Seedance 2.5 or Wan 3.0, which go up to 30 seconds.

A 14,000-credit Pro month buys about 4 Veo 3.1 clips with audio, 11 Veo 3.1 Fast clips or 53 Seedance 1.5 Pro clips. Most creators mix models to get more from the same budget.

Real examples made with InstaStudio

These clips and the still image below were all made in InstaStudio, our own studio.

AI-generated with InstaStudio. Model: PixVerse V6, 5 s, 720p. Prompt: “A chai vendor pours cutting chai into kulhads at dawn, steam rising, cinematic slow motion”. At these settings, a silent clip costs 250 credits (about ₹36 on Pro).
AI-generated with InstaStudio. Model: Seedance 1.5 Pro, 5 s. Prompt (summarised): a cinematic push-in on an analytics dashboard with charts and a world map. A 5-second 720p Seedance 1.5 Pro clip costs 260 credits with audio or 130 without.
AI-generated with InstaStudio. Model: MiniMax H3, 5 s. Prompt (summarised): a product shot of a statistics view on a desktop monitor. A 5-second 768p MiniMax H3 clip costs 300 credits (about ₹43 on Pro).

How to make an AI video in InstaStudio

  1. Sign up at studio.instadatahelp.com. You get 300 free welcome credits. Free outputs are watermarked.
  2. Open the Video tool and choose a model, or pick Auto mode and let the studio choose one for you.
  3. Write your prompt. Describe the subject, the action, the setting, the camera move and the light, for example: “slow push-in, golden hour, shallow depth of field”.
  4. Set duration, resolution, aspect ratio and audio. Use 9:16 for Reels and Shorts, and 16:9 for YouTube.
  5. Check the credit estimate shown before you run. Change the settings if it is more than you want to spend.
  6. Generate, then refine. Test cheaply first, then re-run your best prompt on a premium model. Add a start frame from an image for more control.
  7. Download and publish. For ready-made ideas, browse community examples on the Explore page. Online sellers can start from the seller kit.

Note: premium models (Veo 3.1, Kling 3.0 Pro and Seedance 2.5) need the Pro, Max or Team plan. The ₹799 Basic plan includes Veo 3.1 Fast and Lite, Kling 2.6 Pro, Seedance 1.5 Pro and other standard models.

Tips to get more video for every rupee

  • Draft silent, finish with sound. On Veo 3.1, audio doubles the price. Lock the visuals first, then add voice or music.
  • Use shorter clips. Three 5-second shots edited together often look better than one 15-second shot, and cost less.
  • Start from an image. A strong start frame cuts down on failed attempts.
  • Keep 1080p for final cuts. On Seedance 2.5, 1080p costs more than twice as much as 720p.
