InstaLeads AI is a browser extension that helps businesses extract publicly-listed business information from Google Maps / Google Search and reach out to those businesses by email and WhatsApp. This policy explains what data the extension handles and why.

1. Data we process

• Account details — when you create an account for a paid plan, we collect your email address, name, mobile number and (optionally) GSTIN and billing address. These are used to create your account, activate your device licence, and issue a GST tax invoice.
• Business leads you extract — names, phone numbers, websites, addresses and ratings of businesses from public Google listings. These are stored locally on your computer in the browser's extension storage. When you use an AI feature (ranking or message writing), the relevant lead fields are sent to our server to be processed and returned.
• Location — only if you use the optional "Nearby" search, the extension reads your device location once to determine your area. It is used for that search only and is not stored on our servers.
• Payment data — payments are handled entirely by PayU. We never see or store your card, UPI or bank credentials; we store only the transaction reference and invoice details.

2. How data is stored

Your extracted leads, search history and settings are stored on your own device using the browser's local extension storage. They are not uploaded to us except for the specific fields sent for AI processing when you choose an AI action. A backup copy may be written to your own Downloads folder if you enable auto-backup.

3. Data we do NOT collect

We do not track your browsing history, do not read pages other than what is required to extract business listings (Google) or send your outreach (WhatsApp Web, Outlook), and do not sell or share your data with advertisers.

4. Permissions

The extension requests only the permissions needed to extract leads, contact businesses, export your data, and validate your licence. Website access is used to read public business listings and, when you run contact-enrichment, to look up a business's own website for a public email or WhatsApp number.

5. Third parties

• PayU — payment processing.
• Our AI provider — lead text you submit for ranking/message-writing is processed via our server. No account identifiers beyond what is needed are shared.

6. Data retention & your rights

Leads and history live on your device; delete them any time from within the app, or by removing the extension. For account/invoice data held on our server, you may request access or deletion by emailing us.
